Steps to take if PbN is not syncing with your PMS

If Practice by Numbers is not syncing with your Practice Management Software (PMS), don't worry—it’s usually a quick fix. A loss of connection can happen for several reasons, such as:

  • PMS updates or changes

  • Internet outages

  • Server downtime

When this occurs, PbN may stop receiving updated information from your practice.

Steps to Reconnect

  1. Verify Your Server and Internet Connection
    First, ensure your server is powered on and connected to the internet. If everything is in order and the issue persists, we’ll need access to your server to resolve the sync problem.

  2. Schedule a Support Call
    Use this link to schedule a call with our support team. At the scheduled time, we’ll contact your office to assist you.

    Important: Please ensure someone with server access is available during the call. This will help us reconnect your PMS and Practice by Numbers as quickly as possible.
