PbN has introduced a new Insurance Verification experience that gives practices the flexibility to verify coverage through Vyne or Steadi. This feature is currently in Alpha, meaning it’s an early version available to use while we continue enhancing functionality and design. With this release, practices benefit from faster verification times, broader payer coverage, and a more modern results interface, all designed to make insurance checks easier and more reliable.
Key Benefits & Improvements
Choice of Provider: Select Vyne or Steadi (Steadi offers broader payer coverage and an updated verification display).
Faster Verification: Checks complete more quickly, and you can navigate away from the page while the process runs in the background.
Guest Verification: Run a preliminary check for new patients before they are added to your PMS. Benefits display just like standard verifications, but results do not write back.
Secondary Insurance Support: If secondary coverage exists in your PMS, PbN will display it in the verification results.
Improved Interface: Steadi verifications feature a cleaner, modern look for reviewing eligibility and benefits.
Insurance Verification Home Page
From the Insurance tab, the home page provides:
A dashboard summary at the top showing scheduled patients, insured patients, verifications completed, and estimated staff cost savings.
The Patient Verification tab, where staff can:
Select patients by appointment date.
Run bulk or individual insurance verifications.
View payer, network status, subscriber ID, last verification date, and benefit/range information.
Guest Verification
The Guest Verification tab allows you to check eligibility for new or prospective patients who are not yet in your PMS. Simply enter subscriber and insurance details, then verify.
Results show the same benefits as standard patients.
Guest verifications are informational only and are not written back to the PMS.
Verification Log
The updated Verification Log provides a quick summary of patient benefits after verification is complete. This helps staff review details at a glance without needing to open full records.
