The Patient Communication Center in PbN makes it easy to send text messages to your patients. Follow these simple steps to get started:

Access the Communication Center

  • Click the SMS icon located at the bottom left of any page in PbN.

  • If you have unread messages, a number will appear next to the icon, indicating how many incoming messages need your attention.

View Existing Conversations

  • When the panel opens, you'll see a list of conversations, including both incoming and outgoing messages.

  • Click on a conversation to view past messages or respond to a patient.

Start a New Message

  • Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the panel to compose a new message.

  • Type the recipient's name or phone number in the search bar. A list of matching contacts will appear—select the correct patient from the list.

  • You can also send messages to any phone number, even if it is not linked to an existing patient.

Write and Send Your Message

  • After selecting a recipient, type your message in the text box.

  • Use available options to customize your message:

    • Prewritten Templates – Quickly insert a Treatment Plan, General Consent/Form, Payment Request, Review Request.

    • Emojis – Add a personal touch to your message.

    • Attachments – Include relevant documents or images.

  • Review your message in the preview box.

  • Click Send when you're ready.
