How to Send a Treatment Plan Using the Communication Center.

To send a treatment plan to your patients through Practice by Numbers, follow these steps:

1. Open the Communication Center:

  • Click the button at the bottom left of the website to access the Communication Center.

2. Compose a New Message:

  • Click the 'pencil' icon located in the top right of the panel.

  • Enter the recipient's name or phone number in the field provided. As you type, matching contacts will appear. Select the appropriate recipient from the list.

3. Send the Treatment Plan:

  • After selecting the recipient, click the "Send Treatment Plan" option at the bottom of the panel.

4. Customize the Treatment Plan:

  • A new panel will open where you can adjust the treatment plan. You can modify specific codes and fees, or click directly into the treatment plan to make manual changes if needed.

5. Adjust Messaging Options:

  • At the bottom of the panel, choose how you want to send the information:

  • Text Message

  • Email

  • Directly to the Patient

  • Family Member

  • Tablet at the Office

  • Once sent, the patient will receive a link to access the treatment plan.- Email

    • When using email templates, note they do not auto-generate details from Dentrix.

    • Templates must be manually edited for each patient's specific treatment needs.

    • For efficiency, consider using the automated "Unscheduled Treatment Campaign" feature.

6. Alternative Methods:

  • You can also send a treatment plan from any Patient's Information Window:

  • Search for the patient in the top right of the website.

  • Open the patient’s information window.

  • Select "Form" on the right side and then choose the "Send Treatment Plan" option.

  • You can also send a treatment plan directly from the Treatment tab:

    • Open the patient record

    • Navigate to the Treatment tab

    • Click the "Send Form" button at the top
