Phone IQ is Practice by Numbers’ call intelligence platform that helps your team answer every phone call with clarity, speed, and context. Whether you're using a third-party VOIP provider or upgrading to our native PbN Voice system, PhoneIQ connects your phones to powerful data, patient insights, and analytics tools.

Your phones are one of the most valuable parts of the patient journey—but many practices don’t have visibility into what’s happening on calls. PhoneIQ fixes that by providing:

  • Caller identification with real-time patient pop-ups

  • Call logs that include incoming, outgoing, and missed calls

  • Basic call details like timestamps and durations

  • Optional AI insights that surface call intent, sentiment, and missed opportunities

Setup Instructions

PbN Voice

Step 1: Contact PbN Support to discuss adding or upgrading to PbN Voice.
Step 2: Once enabled, configure your call tree, voicemail routing, and ring groups in the Phone Admin page.
Step 3: Download and install the Desktop App on all office computers (Windows 8+, ideally Windows 10+).
Step 4: Log in using your PbN credentials to receive patient pop-ups and access call logs.
Step 5 (Optional): Use the Grow App to Click-to-Call patients from your mobile device.


RingCentral

Step 1: In PbN Settings, click "Connect to RingCentral."
Step 2: Enter your RingCentral login credentials.
Step 3: Download and install the Desktop App.
Step 4: Log in to enable patient pop-ups and basic call analytics.


Mango

Step 1: Request a Remote ID from PbN Support.
Step 2: In the Mango portal, go to Integrations, click "Learn More" next to PbN, and enter the Remote ID.


Step 3: Download and install the Desktop App.
Step 4: Log in with your PbN credentials to enable pop-ups.


Jive

Step 1: In PbN Settings, click "Connect to Jive."
Step 2: Enter your Jive login credentials.
Step 3: Install the Desktop App.
Step 4: Log in to begin receiving pop-ups and call details.


Partial Compatibility (e.g., Vonage, Spectrum, Onset, Altus)

Step 1: Request a dual ring number from PbN Support.
Step 2: Have your VOIP provider set up dual/simultaneous ring to that number.
Step 3: Install the Desktop App on all workstations.
Step 4: Log in to display patient pop-ups for incoming calls.

📝 Note: These setups only support basic caller ID-based pop-ups. Call logs and analytics are limited.
