PbN Usage Fees – Clear, Flexible, and Scalable

Written by Emily McClendon

At Practice by Numbers, we believe in transparent pricing that scales with your communication needs — with no hidden fees and no markup from us.

Carrier-mandated and usage-based fees help you reliably reach patients through compliant communication channels. These charges apply only if your usage exceeds the included monthly allowances, ensuring you pay more only when your communication volume increases.

Each Practice by Numbers bundle includes a generous monthly allotment of SMS messages to support patient communication.

A2P 10DLC Compliance

Required by Carriers, Managed for You

To ensure your messages are delivered securely and reliably through mobile carriers, all accounts must be registered for A2P 10DLC compliance.

These fees are mandated by carriers. Practice by Numbers does not profit from them — we simply pass through the required costs to ensure your campaigns remain compliant and uninterrupted.

Fair Usage Policies

Practice by Numbers includes generous allowances for essential communication services. These limits are designed to accommodate typical practice usage patterns.

We expect only the busiest offices to exceed these thresholds. Most practices will never reach these limits during normal operations.

Why Fair Usage Works

Our fair usage approach ensures:

  • Predictable costs for typical practice operations

  • Transparent overage pricing with no surprise fees

  • Generous allowances that accommodate growth

  • A pay-as-you-scale model that grows with your practice

Most practices operate well within these limits during normal business operations.

Overage pricing is structured to remain fair and reasonable for practices requiring higher usage volumes, while maintaining service quality for all users.
