Managing Appointment Reminder Confirmation Keywords

Practices can now customize the keywords patients use to confirm their appointments via reminders. This feature provides flexibility for patients and ensures the system recognizes their responses correctly.

How to Access the Appointment Confirmation Keywords

  1. Go to the Appointment Reminders Campaign:

    • Click the person icon at the top right of the page and select Campaigns from the dropdown menu or

    • Go to Revenue IQ at the top of the page and then select Follow-Up Campaigns from the left-hand side menu.

  2. Navigate to the Appointment Reminders Campaign and scroll to the Special Settings section.

How to Add Appointment Confirmation Keywords

  1. Select the Update Appointment Confirmation Keywords button

  2. Included keywords are "yes," "1," or "c."

  3. Add New Keywords:

    • In the provided field, input the desired confirmation keywords.

    • Press Enter after typing each keyword to add it to the list.

  4. Save Your Changes:

    • Once you have added all the keywords, click Save to update the settings.

Key Notes:

  • Default Keywords: By default, keywords like "yes," "1," or "c" are preconfigured for appointment confirmations.

  • Customization: Practices can add as many keywords as needed to accommodate patients' preferences.

  • Keyword Behavior Across Locations: If a campaign is copied to another practice location, the newly added keywords will not transfer. You will need to manually add them again for the new location.
