Revenue IQ is a powerful tool in Practice by Numbers designed to help your practice identify and act on revenue opportunities. With built-in searches and actionable reports, your team can focus on tasks like following up with patients who need treatment, are overdue for recall, or have canceled appointments.

Exploring the Summary Page

The Summary Page in Revenue IQ provides a comprehensive overview of your revenue opportunities and staff tasks. Key components include:

Tasks Overview:

  • Displays tasks assigned to team members, categorized as "Overdue," "Due Today," "Due Tomorrow," and "Due Soon."

  • It helps your team prioritize and track their follow-up actions efficiently.

Revenue Opportunities:

  • Highlights key categories like:

    • ASAP List

    • Upcoming Recall (e.g., 1 Month, 6–12 Months)

    • Incomplete Treatment (e.g., crowns, restorative, perio, or dentures)

  • Provides a breakdown of the number of patients and the revenue potential for each category, allowing your team to focus on high-impact opportunities.

Contact Outcomes by Employee:

  • Tracks the follow-up activity for each staff member, showing metrics like:

    • Number of calls attempted

    • Outcomes (e.g., No Answer, Left Message, Scheduled, or Not Scheduled)

  • Encourages accountability and helps monitor team performance.

Built-in Searches

Treatment Opportunities:

  • Find patients with planned treatments but no scheduled appointments.

  • Customize your search using:

    • Predefined treatment categories (e.g., incomplete crowns or restorative treatments).

    • Filters like Patient Age, Insurance Plan, and Remaining Benefit Amount.

  • Example: Search for patients overdue for hygiene recall or those with incomplete procedures.

  • Revenue opportunities are displayed alongside their financial impact, allowing you to prioritize follow-ups.

Recall Opportunities:

  • Locate patients overdue for hygiene appointments and organize follow-ups.

  • Use this search to ensure timely care and maintain active patient relationships.

Reactivation Opportunities:

  • Identify inactive patients who haven’t visited recently and generate a list to re-engage them.

  • These searches include metrics like revenue potential to prioritize efforts.

Cancelled Appointments:

  • Quickly access lists of patients with cancelled or failed appointments within a set timeframe.

  • Use this information to reschedule and minimize schedule gaps.

Preappointments:

  • Identify patients who lack future hygiene or other appointments.

  • Macros streamline this process, helping you schedule them promptly.

Patient Finder

  • The Patient Finder tool allows you to create highly customized searches for patients based on specific criteria, such as treatment codes, insurance plans, or appointment histories.

  • This tool complements built-in searches, offering flexibility for unique practice needs.d automatically, based on filters you set, minimizing manual effort.

Campaigns: Follow-Up vs. Custom

Revenue IQ supports both built-in automated campaigns and custom campaigns, offering flexibility based on your practice's needs:

Follow-Up Campaigns

  • These campaigns are preconfigured and automatically generated based on criteria such as:

    • Overdue recalls

    • Inactive patients

    • Unscheduled treatments

  • Tasks and follow-ups are created automatically, minimizing manual effort.

Custom Campaigns

  • Custom campaigns can be created directly from Revenue IQ for more targeted outreach.

  • Tailor campaigns using filters like:

    • Specific treatment codes

    • Patient demographics

    • Insurance details

  • Ideal for addressing unique needs, such as focusing on patients with a specific procedure or reactivating patients within a selected timeframe.

Both types of campaigns can be monitored and managed through the Campaigns section, allowing your team to track progress and results effectively.


Automatic Tasks Integration

Revenue IQ works seamlessly with Automatic Tasks to streamline your practice’s workflow:

  • Tasks are automatically assigned based on patient lists generated in Revenue IQ.

  • Categories include recalls, canceled appointments, and incomplete treatments.

  • Task progress is displayed on the Summary Page, making it easy to track outcomes.

Performance Monitoring

The Performance Page works with Revenue IQ to track the outcomes and progress of your team’s follow-up efforts. It provides visual insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) related to tasks and opportunities identified in Revenue IQ.
