Adding patients to the ASAP list in your Practice Management System (PMS) is an effective way to fill last-minute appointment slots. Revenue IQ in PbN allows you to create custom campaigns targeting patients on the ASAP list. Here’s how to add patients to the ASAP list for Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Open Dental.
Eaglesoft: Using the "Sooner if Possible" Option
In Eaglesoft, the "Sooner if Possible" option allows you to flag patients for earlier appointment availability.
Open OnSchedule and locate the patient’s appointment.
Right-click the appointment and select Edit Appointment.
Check the Sooner if Possible box.
Save the appointment.
The patient will now be added to Eaglesoft's Sooner if Possible list, which corresponds to the ASAP list in Revenue IQ.
Dentrix: Adding Patients to the ASAP List
Dentrix makes adding patients to the ASAP list directly from the Appointment Book easy.
Open the Appointment Book and find the patient’s appointment.
Double-click the appointment to open the Appointment Information window.
Check the ASAP box in the Appointment Information dialog.
Click OK to save your changes.
The patient will now appear on Dentrix’s ASAP list and be ready to be contacted for earlier appointment opportunities.
Open Dental: Managing the ASAP List
Open Dental provides a dedicated ASAP list feature that lets you quickly identify and contact patients with last-minute openings.
In Open Dental, go to the Appointments Module.
Find the patient’s appointment and double-click to open the Edit Appointment window.
Check the ASAP box.
Save the changes.
The patient will now be added to Open Dental’s ASAP list, accessible via the ASAP List button in the Appointments Module.
Using Revenue IQ to Create Custom Campaigns
After adding patients to the ASAP list in your PMS, you can utilize Revenue IQ in Practice by Numbers to design targeted campaigns for last-minute appointment opportunities:
Navigate to Revenue IQ > Summary.
Locate the ASAP List in the Revenue Opportunities panel to access the patients flagged for earlier appointments.
Select Create Campaign.
Personalize the campaign message to inform patients about last-minute availability.
Launch the campaign to efficiently fill open appointment slots.
