The RiQ Assistant is an AI-powered tool embedded within the Revenue IQ Patient Finder. It enables users to quickly find patients based on specific criteria using natural language commands. Here’s how to utilize the RiQ Assistant effectively:
Accessing the RiQ Assistant
Navigate to Revenue IQ in Practice by Numbers.
Select the Patient Finder tab from the left-side navigation.
At the top of the Patient Finder screen, locate the RiQ Assistant (Beta) input box.
Using the RiQ Assistant
Enter a Query:
Type your query into the RiQ Assistant's input box. For example:
"Patients with unscheduled treatment."
"Patients who missed appointments last month."
The AI interprets the query and automatically populates the filters below.
Review the Filters:
After entering the query, the filters in the Patient Finder panel adjust to reflect your request. This includes:
Patient Status: Defaults to "Active" unless specified otherwise.
Services Not Scheduled: Identifies treatments or services yet to be scheduled.
Date Range: Adjusts to the timeframe relevant to your query.
Other criteria, such as providers or services, can be customized if needed.
Modify Filters (Optional):
Click on Show Filters to view or manually adjust the applied filters.
Add or remove specific details, such as service types, providers, or custom date ranges.
Execute the Search:
Click the Search button to retrieve results. The number of matching patients appears in the lower-right corner.
Interpreting Results
Once the search is completed, a list of patients meeting the specified criteria is displayed.
The resulting count (e.g., "6001 patients found") is shown at the bottom, enabling easy monitoring of the search scope.
Use the exported results for targeted follow-ups, campaigns, or scheduling.
Best Practices
Use Natural Language: The RiQ Assistant is optimized for intuitive queries, so conversational language works best.
Example: "Find patients who canceled appointments last week."
Combine with Filters: After using the assistant, refine results with manual adjustments for pinpoint accuracy.
Keep Queries Specific: Narrow searches by including additional details like providers, service names, or custom date ranges.
