Why Save a Revenue IQ Search?

If you're running a custom search in Revenue IQ with specific service codes, saving the search parameters can save time and effort by allowing you to reuse the same settings without manually entering them each time. For example, you might want to save a search for treatment-planned implant restorative codes for patients who had implants placed several months ago.

Steps to Save a Revenue IQ Search

Follow these simple steps to save a custom search in Revenue IQ:

  1. Create a Custom Search
Set up your desired search parameters in Revenue IQ, including service codes, date ranges, or other filters.

  2. Save the Search

    • Click the menu icon (three dots) in the panel's upper-right corner.

    • Select Save Search from the dropdown menu.

    • A panel will appear, prompting you to name your search. Enter a name that identifies the purpose of the search.

  3. Access Saved Searches

    • Once saved, your custom search will appear on the left-hand side of the page alongside the default Revenue IQ searches.

    • To run the saved search, click its name. The preset filters, including service codes, will load automatically.

  4. Adjust as Needed
Before running the search, update the date range or any other parameters as needed to ensure the results reflect your current needs.

Benefits of Saved Searches

  • Efficiency: Save time by avoiding repetitive data entry for frequently used filters.

  • Consistency: Ensure consistent search criteria across your team for better tracking and reporting.

  • Convenience: Quickly switch between different saved searches as needed.

By utilizing saved searches in Revenue IQ, you can focus on analyzing data and making informed decisions rather than repeatedly setting up search criteria.
