Manually Adjusting Provider Hours

How to Reconcile Differences in Provider Hours Worked or Scheduled Between the PMS and Practice IQ


When you encounter discrepancies in KPIs related to patient or provider hours, follow these steps to reconcile them:


1. Access the Set Provider Hours Option:

  • In the relevant KPI section, click the three dots to the right of the number.
  • Select Set Provider Hours to navigate to the Practice by Numbers Hours Worked page.




2. Select the Week to Adjust:

  • The period is organized by week. Choose the week containing the day you need to adjust.
  • Highlight the cell adjacent to the number you want to modify. Arrows will appear for adjusting the value up or down, or you can manually enter the new number.



3. Save Changes:

  • Click Save Changes at the upper right of the page.
  • A warning prompt will remind you to save the changes. After saving, a confirmation message will appear, indicating that a change was made.
  • The border around the adjusted number will change color to indicate a manual adjustment.


4. Revert to Original Numbers:

  • If you need to revert to the original number, click the refresh icon below the provider's name. This will reset the cell to the automated Practice IQ calculation, and the cell border will return to its original state.









If there is a need to go back to the original number, just select the "refresh" icon that is below the provider's name. It will return to the automated Practice IQ calculation, and the cell border will change to the original blank.
