Overview of the 'Huddle' Page in Practice by Numbers

The 'Huddle' page in Practice by Numbers is accessible from the top navigation menu and provides a comprehensive view of key performance indicators (KPIs).

The data on this page is divided into two main sections: 'Today' and 'Yesterday'. You can also select any date or date range to view relevant data. For example, choosing tomorrow's date in the 'Today' section will display the appointments scheduled for tomorrow.

TODAY Section

• Today's Numbers: A snapshot showing the dollar amount scheduled, the number of appointments, patients, and new patients for the day.

• Scheduled for Doctors: Displays the doctor's production scheduled for today along with a list of doctor appointments. Use this list to identify outstanding treatments that could be added and to schedule recall appointments for unscheduled family members.

• Scheduled for Hygienists: Shows the hygienist's production scheduled for the day along with a list of hygiene appointments. This list helps identify pending treatments to discuss with patients and to schedule recall appointments for family members.

• Utilization: Provides data on chair utilization and provider utilization for the day.

• New Patients Scheduled: Lists new patients coming in today.

• Top Referring Patients: Lists patients coming in today who have referred others to your practice.

• Patients with Incomplete Info: Displays missing demographic information for patients coming in today.

YESTERDAY Section

• Yesterday's Numbers: Shows total production and collections from yesterday.

• Doctor's Numbers: Displays the doctor's production and treatment acceptance numbers from yesterday. It also shows how many patients left without scheduling their next appointment and lists the patients seen. The front desk can use this to follow up with patients regarding treatment acceptance.

• Hygienist's Numbers: Shows the hygienist's production from yesterday, lists patients who left without scheduling their next hygiene appointment, and shows the percentage of patients who received fluoride.

• Utilization: Provides data on chair utilization and provider utilization for yesterday.

• New Patients Not Preappointed: Lists new patients seen yesterday who still need to schedule their next appointment.

• Patients with Incomplete Info: Displays missing demographic information for patients seen yesterday.
