Latest releases and product enhancements.

AI-Powered Enhancements

  • Updated KPI Help Sections: All help sections for KPIs now feature comprehensive descriptions detailing how each KPI is calculated, offering greater clarity and insight into performance metrics.

  • Form Summaries in Previews: Each form preview now includes a summary at the top, providing a concise overview to streamline form navigation and review.

Automated Reply Settings

  • In Settings > Communications, a new option called ‘Replies for Missed Messages’ has been added.

  • When enabled, Practice by Numbers (PbN) will automatically reply to incoming text messages received outside office hours, notifying the patient that the practice is closed.

Appointment Reminder Campaign

  • SMS Templates now support the merge tag ####{{ appointment_event_links }} for Save the Date, Primary Early Reminder, and Secondary Early Reminder.

Exclusion Section Update

  • The Exclusion Section is now called ‘Audience Filter’.

  • Users can filter patients based on the codes in their upcoming appointments and patient tags, with options to include or exclude these filters.

Follow-up Campaigns

  • Automatic Template Translation: Users can now easily translate all templates in a follow-up campaign to Spanish using AI translations.

  • Copy Campaign to Another Office:

    • Follow-up campaigns can now be copied from one office to another.

    • The copied campaign will initially be inactive.

    • If the logged-in user does not have access to another practice, a message stating, “You do not have access to any other practice or no sister practice is available to copy the campaign,” will be displayed.

    • Users are allowed to have only one active Appointment Reminder Campaign at a time.

Email and SMS Templates

  • Sending Test Templates:

    • All merge tags will now populate with dummy data, allowing users to see what a message sent to a patient would look like.

    • The option to select a name has been removed from the sending modal.

Forms

  • Add a New Page:

    • Users can now add a new page to the left or right of the currently selected page rather than only as the last page in a form.

    • Forms can be mapped to specific service codes under a new column ‘Required for?’.

    • If ‘Required for?’ is selected, the ‘Frequency’ column will be disabled, as both cannot be used simultaneously.

    • Forms mapped to a service code will automatically be sent to a patient when an appointment is booked that includes the corresponding service code.

    • Practices are advised to include the pending forms link in their ARC when forms are tied to service codes.

  • ES Medical History Sync Status:

    • The sync status for PDF writebacks and ES Medical History writebacks will now be displayed in the Sync Status tooltip.

  • Referral Source Writebacks:

    • The selected PMS-mapped referral source will now be written back into the PMS, excluding options like ‘Another Patient,’ ‘Another Doctor,’ or ‘Other’.

Payments

  • Exclude Account Types Filter Enhancement:

    • Patients in a payment campaign sequence whose account type/billing type is updated in the PMS will be removed from the payment campaign and returned to the Outstanding Balance List.

  • New Setting to Remove Patients from the Payment Campaign:

    • When a patient’s balance falls below a set value, they will be removed from the payment campaign and returned to the Outstanding Balance Page.

    • The balance for this setting cannot exceed the minimum balance allowed for automation.

Opted-Out Patient Table

  • All Opted-Out Patients Listed:

    • Patients will now be listed in this table when they opt out of any campaign type, not just ‘All SMS’ or ‘All Emails’.

    • The specific communication type opted out of will be listed, and if more than one is involved, a tooltip will show all opted-out campaign types.

  • Carrier-Level Unsubscribed Patients:

    • Patients who unsubscribe at the SMS carrier level (using keywords like STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) will now be included in the opt-out table.

Practice IQ

  • Enterprise Dashboards:

    • Users can now share enterprise dashboards with user-type restricted staff.

Patient Search

  • Users can now search for patients by first name.
