If an appointment in Dentrix involves service codes with no fee, Practice IQ will estimate the value of that appointment.
This estimated value is based on a 12-month average of production per appointment for the office.
As a result, the projection number in Practice IQ will be larger than the scheduled production view in Dentrix.
Solution: Adjust Appointment Type:
When creating an appointment that will have a zero amount, adjust the appointment type to Low Production.
This adjustment ensures that such appointments are excluded from having an average production amount applied to them.
