Follow these step-by-step instructions to connect your Stripe account for seamless payment processing:
1. Access Stripe Settings
Log in to your Practice by Numbers account.
Click the person icon in the top right corner of the page.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu (or click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar).
Under the Payment Services section, click Connect to Stripe.
2. Sign In or Create a Stripe Account
You’ll be redirected to the Stripe login page.
If you already have a Stripe account, enter your email and password.
If you don’t have an account: Enter your email, then set a password to begin creating your account.
3. Secure Your Account
Enter your mobile phone number to set up two-step verification.
Stripe will send you a code via text message.
4. Verify with the Code
Enter the verification code you received via text to continue.
5. Save Your Backup Code
Stripe will generate a backup code in case you lose access to your phone.
Save this code somewhere safe.
6. Enter Business Address and Type
Provide the following information:
Business address
Business type (e.g., individual, company, nonprofit)
7. Add Business Details
Fill in the requested fields:
Legal business name
Employer Identification Number (EIN)
Doing Business As (DBA) name, if applicable
Industry category
8. Enter Account Owner's Information
Add the personal information for the person who owns or manages the business:
Full name
Date of birth
Social Security Number (if required)
9. Enter Bank Account Details
Provide your:
Routing number
Bank account number
This is where Stripe will deposit your payouts.
10. Enter Customer Support Information
Add customer-facing support details such as:
Support phone number or email
Statement descriptor (what your customers will see on their billing statement)
11. Review and Submit
Double-check all entered information on the Review Details page.
Click Submit to finish the setup.
Your Stripe account is now connected to Practice by Numbers, and you're ready to start accepting payments.
