Follow these steps to integrate QuickBooks with Practice IQ seamlessly:
Access QuickBooks Setup
Navigate to the Settings page.
Click the Connect to QuickBooks button.
Connect to Intuit
You'll be redirected to the Intuit website.
Log in with your credentials to link the correct office, which is crucial for multi-location practices.
Complete the Initial Data Sync
The first data sync takes approximately 10 minutes.
Once completed, you can begin setting up accounts and expenses.
Map Accounting Categories
Match your Practice IQ categories to the corresponding QuickBooks accounting categories:
Bank Accounts: Ensure all business bank accounts are correctly mapped to reflect assets.
Revenue: Assign income sources, including patient refunds, to the appropriate revenue category.
Expenses:
On the left, you'll see a list of accounts for payroll, supplies, services, facilities, and more.
These accounts, along with their types, are imported from QuickBooks.
The mapped type and expense type define how expenses are categorized in Practice IQ.
