Follow these steps to integrate QuickBooks with Practice IQ seamlessly:
Access QuickBooks Setup
- Navigate to the Settings page. 
- Click the Connect to QuickBooks button. 
Connect to Intuit
- You'll be redirected to the Intuit website. 
- Log in with your credentials to link the correct office, which is crucial for multi-location practices. 
Complete the Initial Data Sync
- The first data sync takes approximately 10 minutes. 
- Once completed, you can begin setting up accounts and expenses. 
Map Accounting Categories
Match your Practice IQ categories to the corresponding QuickBooks accounting categories:
- Bank Accounts: Ensure all business bank accounts are correctly mapped to reflect assets. 
- Revenue: Assign income sources, including patient refunds, to the appropriate revenue category. 
- Expenses: - On the left, you'll see a list of accounts for payroll, supplies, services, facilities, and more. 
- These accounts, along with their types, are imported from QuickBooks. 
- The mapped type and expense type define how expenses are categorized in Practice IQ.
