Why Configure Recall Tracking?

Setting up recall tracking in Practice IQ helps monitor the number of active patients in your hygiene program.

Best Practices

Most practices select codes related to Periodic Exams, Prophylaxis (Prophy), and Periodontal Maintenance to track active hygiene patients. However, if a patient receives an FMX (full-mouth X-ray) or panoramic X-ray (Pano), they will not be considered active in the Recall program.

How to Set Up Recall Tracking

Navigate to Settings

  • Go to the Settings page.

  • Select Recall Types from the menu.

Choose Relevant Codes

Select the service codes that indicate a patient is actively engaged in hygiene care. Common selections include:

  • Periodic Exams

  • Prophylaxis (Prophy)

  • Periodontal Maintenance

Save Your Settings

Once you've selected the appropriate recall types, save your configuration to enable accurate tracking.
