You can use the Online Appointment Booking button on your website with or without the Webchat feature.
This gives you more flexibility to offer online booking without needing to have chat available.
How It Works
You can turn the Online Appointment Booking button ON or OFF in your Appointment Widget settings.
Webchat is not required for the booking button to work.
Turning off Webchat will not affect the booking button if it is already turned on.
Where to Access Settings
Online Appointment Booking Widget: Go to Appointments > Widgets to manage your booking button.
Webchat Settings: Click the person icon at the top right of your screen > Settings > under the Communications panel, select Webchat.
What Patients Will See
If Webchat is off and Online Appointment Booking is on, a schedule icon appears in the bottom corner of your site. Patients can click it to book an appointment.
If both Webchat and Online Appointment Booking are enabled, patients will see the chat icon. Inside the chat, there will be a 'Book Appointment' option.
If Webchat is ON and Online Appointment Booking is OFF, patients will see only the chat icon. There will not be a Book Appointment option inside the chat.
If both Webchat and Online Appointment Booking are off, nothing will show.
