The Custom Dashboard feature in PracticeIQ has been enhanced to allow custom service codes to create tailored dashboards, significantly expanding KPI tracking capabilities. This new functionality supports better reporting and performance analysis by incorporating specific service codes into your practice's data insights.
Supported KPIs with Custom Service Codes
Custom service codes can now be used to generate data for the following KPIs:
Service Code Count: Tracks the total number of times a service code is used.
Service Code Patient Count: Tracks the number of unique patients associated with a specific service code.
Service Code Dollar Total: Tracks the total revenue generated by a specific service code.
Key Features and Considerations
Custom Service Code Entry:
You can enter any custom service code, even if it is not an ADA code.
The code must exist in your practice’s database for KPI data to populate.
If a custom code is entered incorrectly or does not exist, no data will be displayed for the associated KPI.
Error Prevention:
Ensure accurate entry of custom service codes to avoid data inconsistencies or missing information.
Steps to Create a Custom Dashboard
Create a New Dashboard:
In PracticeIQ, locate and click on the + New Dashboard tab in the left-hand menu to begin creating a custom dashboard.
Add a KPI Table:
Click on Add KPI Table and search for one of the supported KPIs:
Service Code Count
Service Code Patient Count
Service Code Dollar Total
Select Custom Service Codes:
In the KPI configuration, specify the service codes you wish to track. Use the search field to locate your desired custom service codes or manually enter the code.
Save and Customize:
Once your KPI table is configured, save your dashboard. You can further customize your layout by adding additional KPIs or visual elements as needed.
