Process the Card Payment
Choose Payment Method:
On the payment screen, select 'Credit Card' or the specific card type being used.
Swipe/Insert/Use Contactless Payment:
Swipe: If the card has a magnetic strip, swipe it through the card reader.
Insert: For chip-enabled cards, insert the card into the chip reader.
Contactless: If the card supports contactless payments, ask the customer to tap their card or device on the reader.
Verify Transaction Details:
Ensure the total amount displayed on the terminal is correct.
The customer may be prompted to enter their PIN or provide a signature depending on the card type and payment amount.
Confirm and Complete the Transaction
Transaction Authorization:
Wait for the terminal to process the payment. This may take a few seconds.
Once authorized, the terminal will display a confirmation message.
Print or Email Receipt:
After the payment is successfully processed, select whether to print a physical receipt or email it to the customer.
Provide the receipt to the customer as proof of purchase.
Sync Payment
Once a payment has been made navigate back to the Payments Table within your browser and tag the payment back to the Patient.
