Steps to Use the Kiosk

1. Connect Your Tablet:

  • Ensure your tablet is connected to Practice by Numbers (PbN). If you need help registering your device, refer to the full guide here.

2. Open Browser or Use Kiosk App:

  • Open an internet browser on the connected tablet. Use the same browser you registered with, which can be found under your active tablets in PbN.

  • Alternatively, you can use theKiosk App available for iOS devices. Download the app by scanning the QR code provided during setup.

3. Patient Check-In:

  • From the landing page, patients should select "Please Check-In."

  • They will be prompted to enter their full name to find their active file.

  • Note: Only patients scheduled within the next 2 hours will be able to find their name and proceed.

4. Complete Forms:

  • Once identified, patients will see the forms they need to complete.

  • They can choose to fill out the forms on the tablet or opt to receive a link to complete them on their phone.

  • At the bottom of the page, there is an option to upload a photo or document using the tablet’s camera. These will be saved to Patient Media.

5. Submit Forms:

  • Completed forms can be found in PbN under the Completed Forms page.

  • With the correct settings, forms will also be written back into your Practice Management System (PMS).

6. Forms & Consents:

  • From the kiosk’s landing page, select "Forms & Consents" to send specific forms to the device without specifying a patient.

  • This is useful for unscheduled patients or additional paperwork.

  • Completed forms will appear under the Completed Forms page, where you might need to manually sync the information with the correct patient file.
