Downloading the PbN Kiosk App
Where to Find It:
App Store: Search for “Practice by Numbers Kiosk”.
QR Code: Log in to your Practice by Numbers account and navigate to:
Forms > Tablets → Use the QR code to download directly onto your iPad.
Registering Your iPad (Device Pairing)
Open the Kiosk App on your iPad.
On your PbN account, go to:
Forms > TabletsClick “Add a New Tablet”.
Name your device for easy identification.
A pairing code and QR code will be generated.
On the iPad:
Option 1: Enter the pairing code.
Option 2: Scan the QR code.
Your iPad is now linked to your PbN account.
Patient Check-In Made Easy
Patients can:
Check in independently upon arrival.
Complete required forms using the touchscreen interface.
Eliminate paper and clipboard use, reducing front-desk delays.
All completed forms sync to the Forms > Completed section of your dashboard in real time.
Using Practice Access (Staff Mode)
Practice Access allows staff to quickly:
Search and locate patients
Send digital forms or treatment plans
Take/upload profile photos
Upload insurance cards or documents

How to Access
On the iPad, tap Practice Access.
Enter your 4-digit staff access code (found or set under Forms > Tablets > Edit).
This code can be customized to any 4-digit PIN for your team.

Managing Patients from the Kiosk
Using the app, staff can:
Check patients in from the waiting room. (See above)
Send forms & treatment plans directly to the iPad.
View upcoming appointments and form status.
Scan and upload documents, such as insurance cards or driver’s licenses.
Capture patient photos for accurate profile management.
This centralizes form management, making your workflow more efficient.
Adjusting Kiosk App Settings
To Access
Tap the cogwheel icon (⚙️) in the upper-right corner of the app.
From here, you can:
Adjust display settings.
Update the Kiosk pin code.
Manage app behavior and interface preferences.
