To reconcile Eaglesoft reports with the dashboards in Practice IQ, you need to set most of your adjustment types to "impact" Adjustments. Otherwise, these items will appear as negative production instead of adjustments.

Consequently, your write-offs will show as 0 in PbN, and you won't be able to analyze adjustments by type in PbN. Additionally, your Eaglesoft reports will often not match what you see in PBN.

Adjustments that should "impact" Adjustments include:

  • Insurance write-offs

  • In-House Membership Plans

  • Senior Citizen/Military Discounts

  • Professional Courtesy

  • Other discounts

The only adjustments that should "impact" Collections are:

  • Patient refunds

  • Insurance refunds

  • Returned checks (NSF/insufficient funds)
