What is the Average Production per Hour Normalized?

Created by Emily McClendon, Modified on Wed, 24 Jan at 2:42 PM by Emily McClendon

How does this number differ from the Average Production per Hour KPI?

The Normalised Average Production per Hour is calculated by dividing the Adjusted Production by the total of the Hours Available for the date range.  Whereas the other Hourly Production KPI is calculated by the production divided by the Patient Hours which are the times on the schedule when a service code was associated with a provider.

Example: If a provider did $2800 in Adjusted Production on a day when there were 8 hours available but only 6.5 hours had patients,  the Hourly Production would be $431.

The Normalized Hourly Production would be $350 for that day.
