Simplified Guide for Using the PbN Kiosk App on iPads

1. Downloading the PbN Kiosk App:

• Where to Find: The app can be downloaded from the App Store or by scanning the QR code located under Forms > Tablets on your Practice by Numbers account.

2. Registering Your Device:

• Step-by-Step:
  1. Open the downloaded app.
  2. Navigate to Forms > Tablets on your Practice by Numbers account.
  3. Select Add a New Tablet.
  4. Name your tablet and receive the pairing code.
  5. Enter the pairing code on your iPad or scan the QR code provided.

3. Checking Patients In:

• From the Tablet: Patients can check in and fill out necessary forms directly on the iPad.

4. Using Practice Access:

• Features:
  • Search for a patient.
  • Send forms and treatment plans.
  • Upload documents.
  • Add a patient profile picture.
  • View your schedule and patient information.

• Accessing Practice Access:
  1. Click on Practice Access within the app.
  2. Enter the 4-digit code, which can be found under Forms > Tablets by selecting the edit icon next to your device.
  3. The code can be customized to any 4-digit number.

5. Managing Patients:

• Capabilities:
  • Directly send Forms & Consents and Treatment Plans.
  • Take and upload patient profile photos.
  • Scan and upload cards/documents.
  • View appointments and check patients in.
  • Access patient information, forms, treatment plans, and documents.

6. Adjusting Kiosk Settings:

• How to Access: Click the cogwheel icon in the upper right-hand corner of the app.
