Before you begin assigning or sharing a custom dashboard, make sure you’re familiar with how to create and customize a custom dashboard first.
How to Share a Custom Dashboard
1. Open the Dashboard Menu
Navigate to the custom dashboard you'd like to share.
Click the three dots (
⋮
) in the upper-right corner.Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
2. Adjust Sharing Settings
In the Edit panel, locate the Shared with section.
Click the dropdown to choose who should have access to the dashboard.
You can:
Select All – Grants access to all users.
Select individuals or groups – Share with specific team members or roles.
Note: Users with restricted accounts will only see dashboards explicitly shared with them. If a dashboard isn’t shared, they won’t see it at all.
Dashboard Ownership & Permissions
When a user creates a custom dashboard, they automatically become its Owner.
Dashboard Owners can:
Edit the dashboard layout and widgets.
Update sharing and visibility settings.
Delete the dashboard.
Non-owners can:
Set the shared dashboard as their Home page.
Duplicate the dashboard to create their own version.
