Looking to personalize your dashboards so they show exactly what matters to your team? You can customize any of the built-in PbN dashboards—like the Home, Financial, Doctors, or Hygienists dashboards—by duplicating and editing them.

Step-by-Step: Customize a Default Dashboard

1. Duplicate the Default Dashboard

You can’t edit a built-in dashboard directly, but you can duplicate it to create your own custom version.

How:

  • Open the dashboard you want to customize (e.g., Home).

  • In the top-right corner of the dashboard, click the three-dot menu (︙).

  • Select Duplicate from the dropdown menu.

  • In the pop-up window, give your new dashboard a custom name (e.g., "Home Clone") and confirm the correct practice name.

  • Click Duplicate.

2. Edit Your New Custom Dashboard

Now that you have your own copy, you can make changes freely.

You’ll see the new dashboard listed in the left sidebar under “Custom Dashboard.” Open it to begin editing.

You can:

  • Remove panels: Click the circle icon on any panel to delete it.

  • Add new KPIs: Click Add KPI, Add KPI Table, or Add KPI Graph at the top of any group.

  • Add Groups: Click Add Group to organize your panels into sections.

  • Rename Groups: Give each section a custom name for easy navigation.

  • Drag and drop panels to rearrange or move them between groups.

3. Make It Your Default Dashboard

To make your new custom dashboard the one that appears when you log in:

  • Click the three-dot menu again in the top right of your custom dashboard.

  • Select Set as Home Dashboard.

Tips for Organizing Your Dashboard

  • Use separate groups for categories like Production, Retention, Financials, or Treatment.

  • Remove panels you don’t need to avoid clutter.

  • Keep your most important KPIs at the top of the page.

  • You can create multiple custom dashboards for different team roles or locations.

By duplicating and editing a dashboard, you can create a fully customized view that puts your most important metrics front and center. Whether you want to focus on production, retention, hygiene, or revenue recovery, PbN Dashboards are flexible enough to fit your needs.
