You can choose your AI Receptionist’s voice and communication style directly from your agent settings and preview any option before saving. Each choice affects more than just the voice — warmth, pace, formality, and empathy are all tuned together as a single persona.
Where to Find It
Go to New Settings → AI → AI Receptionist → Voice.
Available Voices
Voice | Style | Best For |
Maya (default) | Warm, professional, balanced | Most dental practices |
Aria | Empathetic, unhurried, supportive | Practices with anxious or sensitive patients |
Previewing a Voice
Each option in the dropdown has a play button that streams a short (5–8-second) sample. Playing a sample doesn’t change your active voice — you need to click Save to apply your choice.
Changing the Voice
Open Agent Settings.
Go to the Voice section.
Click play next to any voice to preview it.
Select the voice you want.
Click Save.
The new voice applies to all calls going forward. Maya is the default until you change it.
What Stays the Same
Changing the voice only changes how the AI Receptionist sounds — not what it does. Booking logic, guardrails, eligibility checks, and HIPAA compliance are unaffected by your choice.
