With Google Reserve, patients can easily schedule appointments directly from your practice’s Google Business Profile (GBP) listing. Once enabled, a Book Online button will appear in Google Search and Maps, making it easier for new and existing patients to book with your practice.

Benefits of Google Reserve

Enabling Google Reserve helps your practice by:

  • Increasing visibility: Patients can see a booking option directly on Google Search and Maps.

  • Boosting new patient acquisition: Makes it simple for new patients to schedule without visiting your website first.

  • Improving patient convenience: Patients can book instantly, 24/7, right from their phone or computer.

  • Streamlining scheduling: Reduces call volume by directing patients to online booking.

Step 1: Navigate to the Widgets Section

  1. Go to Online Appointment Booking in your Practice by Numbers account.

  2. From the left-hand menu, select Widgets.

Step 2: Enable Google Reserve

  1. Scroll to the Google Reserve Integration section.

  2. Toggle on Enable Google Reserve.

Step 3: Verify Google Business Profile Information

  • Click Edit Details to review your business information.

  • The following details must exactly match your Google Business Profile:

    • Practice Name

    • Practice Address

    • Practice Website

    • Practice Phone Number

⚠️ Important: If the information does not match your GBP listing, the Reserve button may not appear.

⚠️ Critical Warning: Only connect your verified Google Business Profile. Linking to the wrong profile may result in Google canceling your GBP listing.

Step 4: Save & Processing Time

  1. Once details are correct, click Save.

  2. Google may take 24-48 hours to display the Book Online button on your profile.

Step 5: Confirm the Integration

  • After processing, search for your practice on Google.

  • You should see a Book Online button directly on your profile.
