How Fax Works Within PbN Voice

Sending a Fax

To send a fax in PbN Voice:

  1. Click the Calls button in the floating bar.

  2. In the pop-up window, select the Fax tab at the top.

From here, you can:

  • Send a fax

  • View your inbox for received faxes

  • Check your outbox for sent faxes

  • Access starred faxes for quick reference

  • Create additional folders to organize faxes


Fax Inbox Details

In your fax inbox, you can:

  • See the phone number from which the fax was sent

  • Open and review the fax file

  • View the timestamp for when the fax was received


Fax Settings

Within Fax Settings, you can adjust how long faxes remain in the Trash folder before they are permanently deleted. This helps with storage management and ensures older faxes are automatically cleared after a selected timeframe.


Email-to-Fax & Fax-to-Email Notifications

PbN Voice allows you to set up Fax-to-Email and Email-to-Fax so your team can send and receive faxes directly from email.


You can configure these options in the Fax Numbers page within Phone Admin.


Porting a Fax Number

If you are interested in porting over an existing fax number into PbN Voice, please contact your VoIP Onboarding Manager or Support for assistance.
