Viewing and Managing Fax Numbers

PbN Voice lets you manage your fax numbers directly from the Phone Admin page. Under the Account Summary section, you can:

  • View the total number of fax numbers currently associated with your phone system.

  • Click into the fax section to add or remove fax numbers.

  • Enable Fax to Email or Email to Fax functionality.

  • Purchase additional phone numbers if needed.

Porting Your Fax Number

When getting started with fax services in PbN Voice, you have the option to port in your existing fax number to ensure a seamless transition. This process must be completed on the back end with the assistance of our PbN Voice team. Users cannot initiate the porting process on their own, but they can contact PbN Support to begin the process.

Viewing Fax Events

From the Phone Admin page, you can access Fax Events to track fax activity. This allows you to monitor incoming and outgoing faxes, ensuring efficient communication management.

Sending a Fax

To send a fax in PbN Voice:

  1. Click on the Calls button located in the floating bar.

  2. In the pop-up window, click the Fax tab at the top.

  3. From here, you can:

    • Send a fax

    • View your inbox for received faxes

    • Check your outbox for sent faxes

    • Access starred faxes for quick reference

    • Create additional folders to organize faxes

Fax Inbox Details

In your fax inbox, you can:

  • View the number from which the fax was sent.

  • Open and review the fax file.

  • See the timestamp indicating when the fax was received.

Fax Settings

Within the fax settings, you can configure how long faxes remain in the Trash folder before they are permanently deleted. This helps manage storage and automatically clears old faxes after a set period.

By leveraging these features, PbN Voice provides a streamlined and efficient faxing experience integrated seamlessly into your phone system.
