Our latest update allows you to disable automatic messaging for each Online Appointment Booking (OAB) communication template. This feature allows greater control over which notifications are sent automatically and which are not, providing a more customized communication experience for your practice.

Steps to Disable Automatic Messaging

  1. Access the OAB Communication Templates:

    • Navigate to the Online Appointment Booking section.

    • Select the Templates option on the left-hand side.

  2. Choose the Template to Modify:

    • You will see a list of available communication templates.

    • Select the template for which you want to disable automatic messaging.

  3. Disable Automatic Messaging:

    • Within the template settings, locate the option to disable automatic messaging.

    • Toggle the switch or uncheck the box to disable this template's automatic email and SMS notifications.

  4. Save the Changes:

    • After adjusting the settings, click the SAVE button to apply your changes.

Important Notes

  • Manual Notification Templates: Some templates are designed to send notifications manually. For these templates, the automatic messaging option will not be available. This design allows practice users to decide on a case-by-case basis whether to send the notifications.

  • Confirmation of Changes: Ensure you have clicked the SAVE button to confirm your changes. Unsaved modifications will not take effect.
