Eaglesoft and Production Reports

Eaglesoft provides various reports, such as End of Day, Production Reconciliation, and Provider Productivity. Offices often try to match production numbers from a Practice IQ dashboard to an Eaglesoft day report, but these reports are designed differently and will not match.

Practice IQ reports do not filter by the date the data was entered, while Eaglesoft's End reports use a different criterion. In Eaglesoft, a "Day" starts after the End of Day is processed and continues until the next End of Day. A "Date" refers to the Date of Service, meaning an item completed at the beginning of one month might appear in the previous month's report. Practice IQ reports will show the codes in the month the procedure was done.

The numbers on these reports can differ from the production numbers on a Practice IQ panel. Eaglesoft production reports include different types of transactions and apply them to various dates or date ranges.

To get similar numbers in an Eaglesoft report to those in Practice IQ, select "Other Range of Dates" in the report filter settings. The "Other Range of End of Days" report will show different totals than your PBN dashboards.

This article explains the recommended setting of "Adjustments impact Adjustments" and which reports reflect that. No single report in Eaglesoft will show numbers exactly like PBN. You need to get the production details from the Production Reconciliation report and subtract the adjustments from the Adjustments Reconciliation report.
