Troubleshooting:

  1. Virtual Receptionist Not Answering Calls:

    • Issue: Calls are not being picked up by the virtual receptionist (VR).

    • Possible Causes:

      • The phone number is not assigned to the VR.

      • The VR call flow is incorrectly configured.

    • Solution:

      • Ensure the correct phone numbers are assigned to the virtual receptionist.

      • Review the VR’s call flow and ensure that it is set to answer calls as expected.

  2. Menu Options Not Working (IVR Issues):

    • Issue: Callers cannot navigate through the VR menu (pressing keys has no effect).

    • Possible Causes:

      • The system is not recognizing DTMF tones (tones made when pressing keys).

      • Menu options are misconfigured or missing from the call flow.

    • Solution:

      • Check the DTMF settings on your VoIP system to ensure it is configured to recognize tones.

      • Review the VR’s menu configuration and verify that each keypress is correctly linked to an action.

  3. Calls Not Routing After Business Hours
