Patient Journey Overview
Here’s what patients will experience when using the Public Payment Portal:
1. Accessing the Portal
Patients click on the Public Payment Portal link provided by your practice. This link opens a secure payment page associated with their account.
To log in, patients must enter:
First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth
2. Viewing Active Plans & Balances
Once logged in, patients will see:
A summary of active payment plans
Their total outstanding balance
The next installment due date for each plan
⚠️ Note: Patients can’t open a full plan view from the portal, but essential details are visible on the main page.
3. Payment Options
Patients can choose to:
Pay Next: Make a payment for the upcoming scheduled installment
PayOff: Pay off the entire remaining balance of a plan
4. Submitting a Payment
When the patient clicks “Pay” next to a plan:
They’re taken to a secure payment page
They enter card information
Then click “Pay” to complete the transaction
5. Confirmation & Receipt
After payment:
A confirmation screen appears
Patients can download a receipt for their records directly from this page
