Cloned Voices allow you to generate voicemail messages using AI-powered text-to-speech technology that replicates your own voice. This is a powerful feature that gives your automated voicemail campaigns a natural, personalized touch—without the need to manually record each message.

Perfect for practices that want to maintain consistent branding and sound like a familiar team member to patients, Cloned Voices offer efficiency and authenticity.

What Is a Cloned Voice?

A Cloned Voice is a digital voice model trained using a sample of your own voice. Once created and approved, you can use it to:

  • Convert typed text into audio

  • Maintain a consistent and professional tone

  • Create voicemail templates quickly—without live recording

Patients will hear a message in your voice, even though the message was created using typed text.

Where to Access Cloned Voices

You can access and configure Cloned Voices by navigating to:

New Settings → Voice → Cloned Voices

From here, you can:

  • Upload voice recordings for cloning

  • View the status of your cloned voice submission (e.g., "Pending Approval", "Approved")

  • Set your cloned voice as the default for text-to-speech in voicemail templates

How Voice Cloning Works

Here's how your voice gets turned into an AI-powered digital voice, as shown in the in-app guide:

1. Voice Sample Collection

  • Record Samples: Use a professional microphone in a quiet space

  • Clean Audio: Speak clearly with no background noise

  • Verify Quality: The system checks clarity and completeness

Requirements:

  • 2–3 minutes of clear speech

  • High-quality audio

  • Multiple recordings for accuracy

2. AI Voice Learning

Once your recordings are submitted:

  • Analyze Voice: Captures your tone, rhythm, and pronunciation

  • Extract Features: Detects unique speech patterns

  • Train Model: Builds a voice profile that replicates how you sound

3. Submit for Cloning

Once your sample is uploaded:

  • Our system will process and review it for quality

  • Your voice will be submitted for cloning (this may take a few days)

4. Approval & Activation

After approval:

  • Your cloned voice will appear in your Text-to-Speech options

  • You’ll be able to select it when creating or editing voicemail templates

How to Use a Cloned Voice in Voicemail Templates

Once approved, using your cloned voice is easy:

  1. Go to New Settings → Voice → Voicemail Templates

  2. Click Create New Template

  3. Select the Text-to-Speech option

  4. Then choose your cloned voice from the options.

  5. Type your message

  6. Click Create Template to save

Your typed message will now be converted into audio using your cloned voice.

Best Practices for Cloned Voices

  • Use a professional tone in your script

  • Keep messages short and clear

  • Update your cloned voice if your tone or branding evolves

  • Use voicemail templates to save time on repeat messages

Is My Voice Data Secure?

Yes. Voice data used for cloning is securely processed and stored in compliance with HIPAA and data protection standards. Your cloned voice will only be accessible to authorized users within your practice's account.
